Donut Glow Illustrations

Donut Glow is the Illustration work of Greg Messina, beginning in June of 2015. Greg is an illustrator for hire, character designer, and graphic designer who is glad to be alive in New York. His work has been featured in popular art galleries such as Gallery 1988 & Gallery 135, online with Complex Media, and he has been hired by multiple private collectors for custom commissioned work. He will now switch from writing in third person to first person tense. Hi, I'm Greg. The main focus of my work includes pop culture, sports, and professional wrestling. Lots of wrestling. Probably too much. If you like these silly drawings of mine, please reach out to me at donutglowGM@gmail.com to commission one of your own, or just ask some Q's. You can also follow me and my work on popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter & Tumblr (no Facebook) by clicking one of those fun little circles at the bottom of this page. Alrighty, see ya out there.  // Greg Messina // @donutglow

FAQ:

How much does a commission cost?
Well, it depends, really, on what you're looking for. Factors include time spent on the illustration, scope of the project, printing costs, and shipping & handling fees. E-Mail me at donutglowGM@gmail.com with what you're looking for, and I'll work it all out for you!

Will you draw something for me for free?
I don't think so pal.

Can I share your work online?
Of course you can, but there's a right and a wrong way to do this. The right way is to give me credit for the drawing with a link to at least one of my many social media accounts. That would be great. The wrong way would be to post it with no credit at all, with my logo cropped out. I've seen this, and I don't like it one bit. That makes you a bad internet user. I've also seen people take my work and "edit" it, while giving me credit, which is somehow even worse. Don't edit my work, please.

Can you please draw [X]?
I don't usually take requests, unless I ask for them at particularly unmotivated moments in my creative process. If you have an idea for me, you can email me for a quote, or just hang on to it until I'm looking for suggestions.

Will you be my friend?
About time you asked! Tweet me on twitter!
