Here I am, bloggin' again!
2018 was quite a year. In the last twelve months, I've participated in 5 art shows (4 at Gallery 1988 in LA, 1 at Gallery 135 in Portland), done a few commissioned pieces for real pro wrestlers that I watch on tv every week, came out with my first enamel pin, bought a house, and had my entire Society 6 shop shut down by WWE’s legal department!
Anyway, on to the future.
I’ve begun selling my work on Etsy, and hope to fill it up with a whole new library of goodies: stickers, shirts, pins, and of course prints. Aside from the pop culture & pro wrestling work that I love to do, I also hope to be creating more original artwork in 2019.
I’m also going to be becoming a father this year. I don’t know how that will effect my workflow, but I do hope to find a groove and a nice balance between my full-time job, fatherhood, and the freelance/fun stuff I do as DonutGlow.
Whether you’ve been with me since the start, or just discovered my work, I just want to thank you all for being a fan, customer, or follower. It gives me a lot of joy to create, but it’s even better when other people like the outcome.
Happy new year, friends.
Greg
