Actually, it's my first site. I've always wanted one of these suckers. So I've finally started making a little bit of scratch from this freelance illustrating gig, and if there's one thing I've learned from all of those business classes I never took, it's that you need to re-invest a percentage of your profits into yourself.
So what I want to accomplish with this dot com is the following:
- Get more work. I love it and I'm greedy and I want MORE!
- Put all of my existing work and contact info and online shop into one central hub. I'm getting tired of telling people to follow me on all of these different accounts (but follow me anyway: @donutglow pretty much everywhere except Facebook).
- Free donuts (still working on how this can be accomplished).
- Keep people updated on what I'm working on, and what's coming up for me so that they don't think I'm just ignoring them. I'm a busy little beaver lately!
Right now, I have a few personal projects I'm working on as Christmas gifts for friends & family, as well as some secret commissions that I can't talk about yet. Expect all of this to eventually bubble up into my gallery pages, and I'll try to put up a new blog post each time I update the site.
I also expect to be updating The Wrestlers section often, because I can't help myself from drawing those little dudes. My goal is to hit 100, and then try to shop around a book, but I have a long way to go on that front.
In the meantime, check out my shop and see if there's anything there that you might want to hang up in your mother's basement.
Hey, you're on my website! AND you read the blog! I just can't believe it.
